With the launch of the Government Coordinating Council, K-12 networks are now considered critical infrastructure and can expect greater assistance and oversight from state and local governments in operating cybersecurity. The initiative underscores the importance of safeguarding the digital wellbeing of schools, students, and staff from cyberthreats. In this talk, we’ll explore the most common threats that continue to bypass K–12 cybersecurity. We’ll also look at how to counter these threats with technology, and without overburdening cybersecurity staff.
